You will create the right environment for teams to succeed, identifying and managing dependencies, planning the high level sequence of work, helping the team to self-organise, and creating a culture of learning and transparency.
The Delivery Lead takes ownership for providing delivery advice and guidance and is accountable for coordinating the overall delivery. In addition to this you will play a key role in leading the delivery mgt colleagues on daily basis and on the ground in Thailand - lifting capabilities, team spirit and engagement.Your Role as Delivery Manager and Team leader:What is needed to succeed:
In this role you will as Delivery lead
- Oversee and lead the E2E delivery of larger programmes and initiatives leveraging the suitable delivery methodology (Agile or Waterfall)
- Work with the Delivery Director for Manu and SC tech - incl the VP for Manu tech to drive delivery, governance, capacity allocation across Manu Tech to ensure delivery E2E of strategic initiatives in Manu tech
- Be responsible for the budget and financials, you will work closely with Finance and the Manu Tech leadership on strict financial control and meeting our budget targets
- Partner with the Manu Tech Leadership on plans and roadmaps, and outlining the delivery strategy for the domain
- Work closely with other Product Lines, Domains, Delivery Lead, Project Mgrs and platform teams to identify and reconcile dependencies and risks across to effectively manage them
- Communicate risks, dependencies, status and progress to key stakeholders within and outside of Manu Tech
- Build effective partnerships not only within your Manu tech, but also with business functions, specifically Crafting & Supply, Merchandising and Supply Chain, and towards internal end users to understand how to best deliver products E2E
- Manage relationships with strategic vendors providing competencies, expertise, software and tools for your domain
- Lead, challenge and coach teams on how to improve their agile and/or waterfall delivery, and imbed a culture of continuous improvement
- Help and support the delivery mgt team with their deliveries - ensuring they have sparring and support when needed
- Foster and grow a culture within the Delivery Management team which celebrates collaboration and continuous improvements, in order to drive delivery efficiency up while reducing time to deliver and cost of implementation
- Participate in Delivery Lead community across D&T lifting delivery across
- 8+ years of Delivery / Project management experience within manufacturing / fashion / luxury / FMCG organizations in large scale strategic programs or projects
- Experience in successfully managing and guiding complex projects regarding blueprinting, solutioning, capacity planning, budgeting, and rollout
- Participation in all phases of at least 2 large full life cycle implementations (e.g. ERP, Digital Manufacturing, E2E planning solutions etc.) - ideally within the Manu or Supply chain space
- Strong experience in enterprise IT management, technology consulting, advisory or professional services
- Project management and leadership skills for managing projects and cross-functional project teams, onshore and offshore suppliers
- Ability to identify risks, anticipate challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles with mitigations and contingencies
- Knowledge of various project management methodologies (e.g., waterfall, agile)
- Professional Project Management certification (e.g., PMP / PRINCE2 / SAFe) would be an advantage
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills to provide project leadership and direction to all stakeholders and project resources
- Experience with team management an advantage
