Senior Staff Engineer Test Hardware Technology

In your new role you will:You will be part of a team which is involved with products of all business units and operations at all test locations, worldwide.
Your scope of work is focused on printed circuit board (PCB) and contact socket/ test mechanical HW component setups used as interface between the Infineon product and the automatic test equipment (ATE). In detail, you will
- Analyze product requirements towards functional test
- Collect manufacturing requirements towards functional test
- Work in a team of mechanical design engineers utilizing 2-D CAD tools executing, checking drawings to incorporate Infineon standards based on project requirements
- Execute AutoCAD drawings for test HW interface integration into PCB designs.
- Use company existing design Templates, Rules & Guidelines.
- Support volume ramp of new interface solutions at production sites
- Participate in innovation and PCB designs projects as contributor or project member
- Be a member of an expert network.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A degree from a University or University of Applied Sciences (Bachelor or Master) in Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.
- You are a self-driven, motivated team player and active driver who wants to get things accomplished.
- You are in favor of a challenging and dynamic environment and enjoy working in international, interdisciplinary teams. Communication and social skills, Time management abilities and Systematic thinking and working are among your key assets.
- At least 5 years work experience or more in designs.
- Practical experience in mechanical drawing drafting in 2D AutoCAD tool (with measures, tolerances, standards etc.) suitable for production use.
- Read and understand technical documents and HW design specifications.
- Drafting experience with 3D modeling CAD tool is an asset.
- Understanding of PCB design and /or PCB manufacturing workflow.
- Programming skills and knowledge in scripting languages is an asset.
- Fluent in English
