Indirect Procurement Manager - CAPEX (Mandarin Chinese Speaking)We are looking for a strategic and hands-on procurement professional to lead CAPEX sourcing initiatives across manufacturing operations in Thailand. This role plays a critical part in driving investment efficiency by managing end-to-end procurement activities for capital projectsYou will work closely with engineering, operations, and global stakeholders to ensure all CAPEX investments are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesCAPEX Sourcing & Project Leadership
  • Lead sourcing activities for CAPEX projects across Thailand plants, including equipment, machinery, and engineering services
  • Manage the full procurement lifecycle from requirement definition, RFQ/RFP, supplier evaluation, negotiation, to contract award
  • Partner with engineering and project teams to align technical specifications and commercial strategies
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop a strong supplier base for capital equipment and services
  • Work closely with regional and global teams, including Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, to ensure alignment and smooth execution
  • Build strong relationships with key suppliers to support long-term collaboration and performance
Cost Optimization & Commercial Strategy
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and value engineering opportunities across CAPEX projects
  • Conduct commercial analysis, benchmarking, and total cost of ownership (TCO) evaluations
  • Lead contract negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and risk mitigation
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, with a strong focus on CAPEX sourcing within manufacturing environments
  • Strong negotiation and commercial management skills
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is mandatory (to support regional/global stakeholder communication)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Good command of English and Thai
