- Provide HDD failure analysis from both internal testbed and customer returns on electrical, mechanical and/or resonance related failures.
- Provide HDD configuration & attributes analysis.
- Identify the failure's root cause, drive for the corrective and improvement actions.
- Work with the related areas (Design Center teams, Factory teams, Supplier teams and other analysis teams) for failure investigation, root cause understanding and action implementation.
- Develop the automated failure analysis system/tools and utilization through AI approach.
- Demonstrates initiative and the ability to learn independently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and presentation).
- Team player with stakeholder management skills.
- Have a clear approach to apply AL/ML for long-term improvement in this field.
- Able to prioritize the multi-tasks and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree or above in mechatronics, mechanical, electronics or electrical engineering.
- Experience in HDD manufacturing or HDD failure analysis
- Fluent communication in English language.
- Good knowledge in data analysis and working proficiency with analytic tools (such as JMP).
- Computer programming skills in Python (or C++, Java, python).
