- Review and assess information security controls for applications before deployment to production
- Identify security gaps and recommend enhancements to ensure applications meet internal security requirements and standards
- Study, evaluate, select, and implement appropriate information security solutions and technologies for the organization
- Support the implementation of DevSecOps practices and technologies to strengthen security throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Work closely with development, infrastructure, and project teams to integrate security into system design, development, testing, and deployment processes
- Develop, maintain, and improve security standards for various information technologies used within the organization
- Conduct security testing for critical systems, applications, or new technologies when required
- Support the evaluation of emerging technologies and security innovations to improve the organization's security posture
- Provide technical guidance to stakeholders on secure development practices and application security controls
- Assist in remediation planning and follow-up for identified security issues and vulnerabilities
- Prepare documentation related to security controls, standards, testing results, and implementation recommendations
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Security or related fields
- Experience in application security, security engineering, or DevSecOps is preferred
- Understanding of secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles and application security controls
- Knowledge of security technologies, tools, and testing approaches used to protect applications and systems
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
