Job Description
Analyze sales, market trends, seasonality, and input from sales teams to build accurate demand forecasts.
Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, and warehouse teams to align forecasts with business goals.
Apply forecasting techniques and identify data irregularities or inconsistencies to improve accuracy.
Monitor and evaluate forecast performance, adjusting plans as needed based on market conditions or customer behavior.
Create regular demand planning reports and dashboards to support key business decisions.
Lead and contribute to the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align demand and supply strategies.
Work closely with inventory and sales planning teams to ensure optimal stock levels and avoid overstock or shortages.
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance forecasting efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Math, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in capacity planning, supply chain management, or a related field within the electronic or construction material industry.
Strong understanding of S&OP processes and principles.
Proficiency in capacity planning tools and software. (e.g., SAP or Oracle is a plus.)
