Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui, where the essence of Thai luxury meets the whispers of the ocean, promises an experience that is both timeless and enchanting.Commis 3 – Staff CanteenAbout the role:The Commis 3-Canteen is responsible for running day-to-day operation of the station in the Canteen kitchen, assisting the preparation of food items, special menu items for staff ensuring consistent quality and hygiene standards. This role requires a special talent and passion for delivering the highest of culinary consistently and ensuring that our food offering is at the centre of our staff experience.The position reports directly to the Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef.What you will do:
Provide an enjoyable expertly food to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness
Anticipate staff needs and satisfaction; offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to staff concerns and requests.
Establish and follow up on core standard, sequence of service and service procedure
Run the day-to-day operation of assigned station in the Canteen kitchen
Check and complete mise en place and set-up the station.
Complete opening and closing side work as assigned and has all items set according to standards
Ensure a clean, neat and organized work area
Communicate with the Chef de Partie and Chef de Cuisine regarding menu items, problem situations or shortages
Work closely with standard recipes and plate presentations to maintain standards of quality in production and presentation.
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of workplace in line with hygiene food safety standards
Handle and report any accident immediately, no matter how minor.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
What you bring:
Must have existing work authorization to work in the country of Thailand
Basic in English communication
Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
Confident outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request
High level of food and hygiene knowledge

The working hours will primarily be early morning, days, during weekdays and weekends.
