Job DescriptionOur client provides maintenance services to the refining, petrochemical and other heavy industries.We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager responsible for developing and executing strategies for achieving sales objectives by the business plan.Responsibilities
  • Working with the Sales and Estimating Function of the “Sales Contracts & Estimating Department” to drive business growth by focusing on major growth initiatives with a maintenance business portfolio including renewable energy in existing and new markets, new customers, and new solutions.
  • Developing and managing strategic relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Working independently and with Sales and Operations Teams to visit customers regularly to drive major growth initiatives.
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of the company business plans together with the Commercial Manager.
  • Managing and drive Long Term Growth Objectives to deliver expected revenue and profit goals for the business territories.
  • Collaborating with existing business partners and establishing agreements with new partners, where necessary, to increase the volume and size of projects and facilitate the achievement of sales targets.
  • Providing guidance and leadership in the preparation and timely submission of quality, winning estimates and proposals.
  • Taking charge and ownership in the preparation and submission of Major and Critical pre-qualification and tender proposals.
  • Developing and maintaining local marketing materials including case studies and reference project summaries.
  • Updating and maintaining the internal CRM system to provide effective monitoring for the company management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Higher in Mechanical Engineering, Business, Management, Marketing or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years experience in Business development within a service contracting environment in Petrochemical, Refining or Power plant generation markets.
  • Strong knowledge of the Petrochemical and refining maintenance market is preferred.
  • Excellent business development and sales track record are essential.
  • Highly motivated and energetic person with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel overseas from time to time.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, (Knowledge of computer e.g. Word, Excel) Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
  • Excellent written and spoken English in the Thai language is an advantage.
