RF Expert EngineerDetail :We seeking a highly experienced RF Expert Engineer to lead and support the planning , optimization, and performance of radio networks (2G/3G/4G/5G). The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Radio Frequency (RF) planning and optimization, a strong understanding of RAN architecture, and the ability to guide teams and interface with key customers.Responsibilities :
Lead RF network planning and optimization for Ericsson radio products across multi-technology networks (LTE/NR/WCDMA/GSM).
Design and evaluate site configurations including antenna placement, azimuth, tilt, and parameter tuning.
Analyze network KPIs and drive optimization strategies to improve coverage, capacity, and quality.
Use tools like Atoll, TEMS, Actix, and Ericsson OSS (ENM, MOSHELL) for analysis and performance troubleshooting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., rollout, transmission, core, and customer teams) to ensure seamless integration and performance.
Provide on-site or remote technical support to operators and partners during deployment and post-launch phases.
Lead technical workshops and knowledge transfer sessions internally and externally.
Keep up to date with the latest RAN technologies and contribute to the adoption of new features and solutions.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in RF engineering, preferably with Ericsson networks.
In-depth understanding of radio network design principles, RAN features, propagation models, and RF tools.
Strong knowledge of LTE, 5G NR, and legacy technologies (GSM/UMTS).
Hands-on experience with Ericsson tools (e.g., ENM, MOSHELL, CNA, GPEH logs).
Familiar with drive test tools and post-processing software (e.g., TEMS, NEMO, Actix).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
Preferred Skills:
Ericsson RAN certifications (LTE, NR) are a strong advantage.
Experience working with AI/ML-driven network optimization tools is a plus.
Ability to work in a multicultural environment and under high-pressure situations.
