Job DescriptionOur client is a leading global provider of pharmaceuticals. This company is comprised of professionals who are passionate about their role in bringing their pharmaceuticals to their customers.You will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategies to optimize market access for our pharmaceutical products.Responsibilities
  • Leading the formulation of pricing, access, and reimbursement strategies through effective networking at local and regional levels.
  • Assisting in the creation of value and access strategies to the assigned portfolio, aligning with the broader external affairs strategy.
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of the payer landscape, including identifying challenges and opportunities.
  • Advising and executing strategic pricing decisions within the designated portfolio, collaborating with the Head of Market Access, regional market access teams, and the global pricing team to ensure value-based pricing.
  • Working closely with the assigned portfolio Business Unit Director (BUD) to devise market access strategic plans, with a specific focus on key growth drivers and priority products within the sector.
  • Formulating and presenting evidence-based submissions for relevant Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and other decision-making processes.
  • Shaping tender strategies in critical therapy areas.
  • Identifying, analyzing, and communicating economic barriers and access gaps.
  • Supervising the development, adaptation, and implementation of Health Economic (HE) models and programs to meet customer requirements and attain commercial targets.
  • Identifying outcomes research needs and creating local data generation strategies in collaboration with the respective Therapeutic Area Market Access Manager.
  • Preparing health technology assessment documents and dossiers for the National List of Essential Medicines (NLEM) and tender submissions.
  • Conducting literature searches, critically reviewing, extracting, and summarizing relevant evidence.
  • Assisting the broader external affairs team in evidence-based discussions with key stakeholders as needed.
  • Collaborating with medical affairs on the strategy and design of local data generation studies.
  • Overseeing local data generation (LDG) projects.
  • Designing LDG projects for market access in alignment with CORE.
  • Managing data procurement, analysis, and reporting.
  • Overseeing the publication of findings and sharing them with commercial teams.
  • Presenting LDG findings at conferences to strengthen value and affordability arguments with industry leaders.
  • Establishing strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) based on shared interests in research and scientific methodologies.
  • Providing strategic input into market access and commercial plans.
  • Developing models to explore various scenarios to inform strategic decisions, such as alternative reimbursement models, business case models for new product launches, and pricing strategies.
  • Assisting in the analysis of current data and trends, collaborating with relevant market access managers to guide strategic decisions made by the commercial teams.
  • Providing leadership and strategic guidance.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of internal pricing, listing, and tendering systems, including the submission of PARFs for senior leadership and global approval.
  • Gaining a deep understanding of government policy objectives, health priorities, and planned initiatives, particularly as they relate to access to the company's oncology franchise.
  • Collaborating with Policy colleagues to assess and develop action plans that influence value frameworks and other policies affecting value assessments.
  • Continuously monitoring the access and pricing environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or Higher preferred).
  • More than 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector in Thailand.
  • Experience working at a senior level in a market access, marketing, or HEOR role.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Fluent in English.
