- Lead new project development from definition to mass production, ensuring cost, quality, and launch objectives are met.
- Apply strong engineering knowledge across stamping, plating, molding, and assembly processes.
- Manage localization and product transfer projects from affiliates.
- Develop project plans, input TE/APQP data, and monitor milestones to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare business cases on capability, capacity, tooling, and equipment requirements.
- Coordinate sample builds, Run@Rate, and tooling readiness for customer qualification.
- Resolve project-related issues with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Stay current with new technologies, materials, and industry trends to improve product/process capability.
- Support IATF16949 and ISO14000 programs and ensure compliance with corporate standards.
- Drive continuous improvement, Kaizen, and IE-related initiatives.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Industrial, Process, Production, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 3-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2-5 years of experience in project management, new product launch, or automotive projects.
- Knowledge of SAP, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, VDA 6.3, and IATF16949.
- Strong leadership, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with tooling, equipment implementation, layouts, process improvement, and lean/Kaizen.
- Understanding of project cost control and profitability.
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD; SAP is an advantage.
