- Support and advise manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with Food Safety and Quality Management System requirements, applicable standards, internal instructions, and regulatory obligations.
- Develop, update, and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and digital tools within the area of technical expertise.
- Ensure timely release of finished products in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements.
- Define, track, and follow up on quality KPIs to drive performance and improvement.
- Lead problem-solving and troubleshooting activities, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented for non-conformities.
- Identify and implement preventive measures and improvement initiatives to mitigate potential risks, particularly during operational changes (e.g., new lines, new products, or modifications).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing defects and waste across the value chain, reinforcing customer and consumer trust.
- Enhance employee competencies by applying the PPD approach (Prediction, Prevention, Detection) to strive for zero defects and zero waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish, enforce, and maintain management systems that drive ongoing improvement.
- Promote food safety and quality awareness by cultivating a strong quality culture and ensuring accountability through training and coaching.
- Lead and motivate the quality team to achieve objectives while developing long-term expertise and capability within the function.
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent), preferably in Microbiology, Chemistry, or Food Science.
- Strong knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, GMP, and HACCP standards.
- Proven experience in food safety and quality management systems.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English.
