We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon.Major Accountabilities:To lead the Pricing & EFA portfolio for Surgical franchises covering both Singapore and Thailand. Collaborate with various stakeholders including commercial, marketing, finance to identify opportunities, build strategic plans and support in execution by materializing these opportunities.[Pricing] To lead price strategy, to maximize pricing opportunities and to prevent price leakage.[EFA] To optimize the performance of the surgical business and be the single point of contact for leading EFA governance framework, regional EFA strategy alignment and structure of the remediation program.[Pricing]§ Build strategic pricing plans and processes in line with business long term plans / goals. Scope out opportunities based on market trends and industry condition, build up pricing plans in consultation with commercial team & Head of Finance.§ Establish Pricing Framework for each SG & TH market. Identify ideal pricing structures and sales funnels.§ Clarify RACI among various stakeholders within the pricing model.§ Full responsibility for market pricing strategies including the management of price list and discounting logic.§ Collaborate with commercial team to drive effective pricing strategies in market and thru distributor.§ Lead, analysis, monitor and report the pricing targets and drive pricing KPIs achievement along with commercial leaders & Head of Finance.§ Full accountability for market pricing governance process. Lead and enhancements pricing process to support automation, speed, and simplicity.§ Implement discounting programs and frameworks, aligned to Region & Global guidance.§ Ensuring the implementation of a clear pricing and customer exception evaluation process which includes strategic, long-term impact as well as legal compliance.§ Monitor the market environment for trends impacting pricing and developing mitigation strategies.§ Perform competitor analysis on similar products and services.§ Ensure cross-functional communication and engagement in key strategic and customer pricing decisions.§ Ability to work with different pricing & commercial channels to ensure ASP and MNSP of all products are well maintained.§ Train relevant Affiliate associates on pricing/ value tools & processes (incl. quoting tools, pricing frameworks, pricing governance, etc.)§ Act as the affiliate strategic pricing point of contact for the region team[EFA]§ Accountable for the governance of EFA commercial agreements supported by robust due diligence process in the approval of deals:o Deals are approved according to the local MAL and SOP approval procedures.o EFAs are supported by robust Profit Analysis Template “PAT”, and Accounting Treatment form “ATF” reviewed and approved by authorised personnel.o Ensure Legal approve deviations from standard agreements and amendments to existing EFAs.o Ensure credit checks / validation of accounting entries tying to the contract & supported by approved proposal/profitability analysis.§ Single point of contact for all EFA related matters within local market & region.§ Monitor the progress and action plan of the EFA contract remediation.§ Monitor and submit monthly EFA’s KPIs and progress of actions plan (etc in improvement of compliance rate and or payback).§ Be part of the cross functions EFA governance committee for deals approval and ensure minutes of the EFAs approval & governance committee exists.§ Lead the EFA compliance monitoring procedure and the follow up actions that addresses the variables to be monitored (e.g., compliance rate, agreed upon product quantities, product pricing, and term).§ Execution of timely compliance billing in accordance with requirement.§ Business partnering with the surgical commercial and legal team to ensure seamless commercial execution and compliance of all contracts.§ Business partnering with FRA in ensuring revenue recognition criteria is fulfilled (contract signed, installation, training requirements are fulfilled etc.) and bad debt provision computation & communication to FRA.§ Business partnering with BPA on providing AR Information for deal analysis & other analytics.§ Provide guidance and training for all EFA queries and latest updates to local entities.§ Update and align local EFA SOP with region and division.§ Act in Accordance with Alcon Values and Behaviours§ Own applicable controls in relation to EFA under the Alcon Financial Controls Matrix (AFCM) & any Statutory reporting requirements as defined by global matrix.§ Ensure effective cash collection processes and receivables in coordination with I2C andCommercial.§ Establish compliance and controls for current and future EFAs and Contracts.Education/Qualifications:Degree in Business Administration or Degree in Business, Commerce, Finance or other relevant fields§ Finance/Pricing/Marketing background (preferred)Language: Fluency in both written and spoken in English & Thai is a must.Skills/Experience: Minimum:Proven success ino Contract managemento Organisational Agilityo Problem Solvingo Ability to lead and guide.o Customer focuso Managing and Measuring worko Business and financial analytics and insightso Risks and governanceo Critical thinking§ Prior experience in a similar role including solid exposure to managing pricing processes, implementing pricing initiatives, and creating pricing process documentation.§ Possess a strong understanding of pricing strategies and concepts.§ Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.§ Strong analytical skills are comfortable dealing with numerical data and have strong attention to detail.§ Expert in advanced PowerPoint, Excel skills and managing/analysing large quantities of data.§ Excellent customer service, communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills in a fast-paced, demanding sales environment including tight turnarounds and juggling multiple high priorities.§ Proven ability to understand and clearly communicate scientific and economic topics and a sound understanding of financial analysis.Preferred:Experience in the medical device industryHow You Can Thrive at Alcon:
