With revenue of more than $12 billion in FY22 and approximately 25,000 people globally working alongside 125,000 global customers, ADI ensures today’s innovators stay Ahead of What’s Possible.Primary Function:Provides quality engineering support to continually improve product quality from incoming raw materials to outgoing finish products and to come up, implement, and maintain quality systems in accordance to international industry standards.Competency Level:Educational Background:Engineering Graduate (BSEE, BSME, BSChe, BSIE, BSECE or BSCoE)Experience:Must have at least 2 years of work experience in the electronics or semiconductor industry in the field of Quality.Knowledge, skill and abilities:
  • Knowledge on statistical tools and techniques (ie: SPC, GR&R, DOE, statistical sampling etc.)
  • Knowledge on basic computer processing software such as Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
  • Knowledge on ISO/TS16949 and ISO14001 standard.
  • Must have problem solving skills and abilities. Utilizes problem solving tools such as 8D, DMAIC, FMEA etc.
  • Can communicate across organization and different levels.
  • Team player.
  • Supervisory skills.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Generate, revise specification necessary for improvement on product realization and quality systems.
  • Block non-conforming products and recommends control requirements in processing such parts.
  • Works closely with personnel on different discipline (such as production, engineering, maintenance, etc. ) in resolving quality problems (ie: customer complaints/RMA, line problems etc.), and respond through 8D approach.
  • Drives or joins cross-functional teams in improving cost, quality and service.
  • Conducts FMEA, PPA or other preventive methodologies
  • Generates various reports that would show the current and past performance, identify improvement aspects and continuously monitor it.
  • Communicate/ coordinate / respond to personnel on other Maxim site on needed information.
  • Support on the implementation of SPC (and CpK improvements) in assembly.
  • Drives the improvement of LRR/PPM on in-line and outgoing QC gates.
  • Responsible for coordinating calibration of all “IMTE’s”.
  • Support ESD qualification and monitoring.
  • Conducts several evaluations/studies such as product/process simulation and GR&R studies.
  • Conduct continuous training and qualification of QC and production personnel.
  • Support the organization in passing external audit such as customer audit and certification audit.
  • Plan and conduct regular quality system and process audit. Generates audit reports and CAR’s, and makes sure of its closure.
  • Generate audit checklist in accordance with international standards eg: ISO9000, TS16949 to identify items needed to be checked during internal audit.
  • Support company-wide programs such as 5S, Safety, Environmental initiatives and others.
  • Other task as assigned.
